YOU'RE THE PROBLEM, NOT THE RECIPE, was written, because the Holy Spirit revealed to me that instead of having a pity party, take accountability. I've found that so many of us are angry at the wrong thing and people, when really, the problem is within us. Fortunately, there is a solution! The same way a baker follows the steps of a recipe to get the desired results, we should follow the Word of God to get the desired results we want in life. Instead, we either partially follow, or don't follow at all the Word of God and get upset with the results we have. How can you be upset with the results, when you didn't follow the recipe exactly? My prayer is that this book helps us to take an honest look at ourselves and see where we have not followed God's Word and begin to follow it.
