Mounted Co2 Laser (10.6um) Beam Combiners A Beam Combiner is a flat window designed to sit at 45deg. to the beam path. If mounted properly this window will transmit 99% of the your Co2 laser beam, and reflect more than 80% of the red laser beam. Use extreme care when mounting this window. ZnSe is very soft. Light pressure can move the crystal structure causing higher reflection, beam distortion, and overheating. Tighten this optic ONLY to when it stops moving in its holder.
